What Sets the TriVita Nopalea Business Apart From the Rest

TriVita business logoThere are thousands of business opportunities out there and many of them have a focus on nutritional supplements and health juices, so what exactly makes the TriVita Nopalea business opportunity stand out?

First, let me preface my explanation by stating that I’ve been right where you are in questioning “why” with regard to a business opportunity and it’s my nearly 10 years of experience in reviewing business models and offering advice to folks looking to earn money from home that enables me to act like an authority on the subject. You won’t find this review to be a “smoke and mirrors” attempt to persuade you into joining- I’m a firm believer that not every opportunity fits every person- so, I still encourage you to take my comments for what they are and allow them to help you do your due diligence on the opportunity and decide if TriVita fits you. You should not have to try to fit yourself into it….

Difference #1: The Focus is on Customers, not Affiliates

You’ll hear this one pointed out by just about any TriVita affiliate out there- it’s the easiest answer when questioned about “what makes TriVita different”.

TriVita is not about affiliate recruitment, it’s about customer introduction and retention

If you look around the internet at affiliate blogs and websites, you’ll find that very few of them say much, if anything, about the TriVita business opportunity and a whole lot about the products. This is because TriVita affiliates know that introducing customers makes for a more secure business than introducing affiliates. Customers are interested in TriVita for the RIGHT reasons- they want to improve their health- whereas an instant affiliate sign up may simply be interested in the idea of making money with something and had heard TriVita was “hot” right now.

The benefits of this distinction extend a bit further too- TriVita customers and affiliates you introduce are yours for life- meaning true residual income off any purchase they make regardless of how they make it in the future… If that’s the case, you WANT everyone under you to have a vested interest in the products or you’re decreasing your chances of long-term residual income.

The flaws of an affiliate-driven business model are exemplified in just abut every mlm-based business opportunity out there. Take a business like Shaklee, for example, distributors are required to maintain a personal order of product per month, not only for their own use, but also for distribution to their customers. The amount they “stock” along with their teammates, to distribute to customers, dictates their rank in the company. This type of model encourages distributors to refer other distributors in an effort to boost overall volume and increase earnings, BUT what happens when one of your distributors finds they aren’t able to get rid of their stock of the product? Or that they aren’t having the success they wanted with it? Or even if it just seems like too much work than they can handle that month?

They drop and your income goes down, leaving you back at square one looking for another distributor to replace them…

Additionally, the Shaklee example illustrates why the permanent customer tie that TriVita has in place is so important. With Shaklee, because product distribution is more from distributor to customer, face to face, there is no “link” that ensures that customer will only continue to buy from you… That means you have to work twice as hard to keep their attention and focus on you as their distributor, which brings us to TriVita’s second benefit that sets it apart…

Difference #2 TriVita follows up with your customers at no extra cost to you

This is actually the distinction that I like pointing out most because when I speak to people that have been in business opportunities before, one of the first things they tend to ask is “how much do I have to pay for my website or promotional materials each month?”. When I answer “nothing”, I usually get an “are you serious?!” type of reaction.

The majority of the business opportunities out there require affiliates to pay extra if they want access to company produced promotional materials. Let’s take another look at Shaklee to illustrate this. I once spoke with a disgruntled affiliate who said she had to maintain a personal order of at least 100 points a month to earn the commissions her rank was eligible for, she paid $29.95 to have her promotional website set up and then committed to an additional $14.95 a month to KEEP that website plus she had to buy any catalog and flier promotional materials she wanted to send each month and personally send these items out- meaning she also paid for postage.

Doesn’t that sound exhausting?!?! And not just exhausting, but EXPENSIVE to boot, with no certainty of sales to recoup your costs!

With TriVita, you are given multiple replicated websites that you can use to promote the products and opportunity free of charge. At the time of this post, there are 3 replicated websites available to us (you can click each image below to view enlarged versions of the sites):

Main TriVita Website for sale of ALL TriVita products to US, Canada and Australia. Affiliate Member sign up is also available here.

TriVita Nopalea 4-pack promotional website and affiliate sign up for US and Canada

The TriVita Australia Promotional website. Allows for purchase of Nopalea and Affiliate Registration for person in Australia.

Additionally, the promotional materials that the company sends to our customers include a monthly catalog, a monthly VitaJournal (TriVita published health magazine), a weekly Wellness Report by email which focuses on a particular health topic, emailed specials reminders, direct mail fliers for various specials, etc.

Your success isn’t purely dependent on you breaking your back (and the bank) to keep the products and health information in front of your customers- the company is there to help you too.

Difference #3: There are more ways to build this business than any other opportunity out there

That might sound like quite a bold statement, but again, I’ll remind you that I’ve been looking at opportunities in detail for 10 years — I’ve looked at every type of MLM and money-making scheme out there and can tell you the faults and benefits to each and every type…

Sure, you’ve got the standard methods of building- bringing in friends and family, promoting online (via pay per click, search engine optimization, online newsletters, forums), by running parties out of your home or setting up a table at a health or business fair, etc. – but TriVita also offers an avenue of business building called “cooperative marketing”.

The cooperative marketing method of business building enables affiliates to purchase earning rights to customers that TriVita has brought into the company through their media advertising.

This means TriVita advertises through print, television, radio and internet to introduce customers and then, for a fee, you can have those customers added to YOUR business so you earn a percentage commission on any purchase these new customers make for life. And we’re not talking a smaller percentage than those that you bring in on your own- you earn the SAME percentage on every customer regardless of whether you directly introduced them to TriVita or if you purchased then through the cooperative marketing system.

Sounds interesting and unique, huh? That means if you have some cash in your pocket and aren’t a great promoter, you can still succeed- they’ve taken away that promotional “failure factor” that plagues so many business opportunity seekers. But, beyond that, the cooperative marketing system also strengthens the company’s advertising reserves and improves customer experience (since the affiliate becomes one more potential contact point for those customers to connect to if they have questions).

Difference #4: The business attracts a broader range of people

This sort of goes hand in hand with my 3rd difference, but I felt it was worth emphasizing.

Because there are so many ways to build the business and because you can essentially be as hands on, or hands free, as you want with your customers, TriVita appeals to standard biz opp seekers, those looking for tax breaks and even those looking for something they can build for retirement

To a TriVita Business Owner, that means security… The boundaries for who might find the business enticing aren’t limited to just those looking for a career change. The business is accessible to anyone — all they have to bring with them is a plan for how they are going to make it work for them and a desire to carry that plan out.

Conclusion

I could honestly just keep going on about what makes TriVita different than anything else out there, but as this post rapidly approaches a 1500 word count, it’s probably best that I cut this post short and save some differences for future blog posts or, perhaps, my next “TriVita Advantage” ebook. ;)
